Marketing Coordinator

We are looking for an energetic and hard-working Marketing Coordinator who works collaboratively in a team environment to join our Marketing team.

 

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will have the opportunity for broad exposure and responsibilities across all areas of marketing, including in the areas of planning, execution and measuring regional and nationally targeted growth marketing campaigns.  These will be a mixture of direct response and brand marketing, and mostly targeted towards insurance agents selling flood.  There will be a test and scale approach, and therefore the ability to help research and design tests and measure uplift will be critical.  You will be joining a small team and therefore need to be proactive, independent and will have the autonomy to manage tasks with little oversight. 

 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Identify new marketing opportunities to reach and engage insurance agents
  • Support the research, planning and execution of brand campaigns aimed at driving customer acquisition
  • Monitor and report on marketing spend versus budget and partner with marketing and analytics leaders on developing measurement models
  • Coordinate design and agency partners to deliver marketing assets for use in various campaigns
  • Collaborate with Agency Development team and support planning and execution of industry conferences and events
  • Develop written branded content for use across marketing materials, social media and e-mail marketing campaigns
  • Develop sales collateral to support growth initiatives of the sales team

 

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

 

Job Related Experience:

  • 2+ years prior marketing experience required
  • Experience running brand campaigns, online and offline
  • Experience with digital marketing channels including social media
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure campaigns
  • Awareness of the marketing demand generation funnel
  • Ability to multi-task and organize multiple projects in flight at once

 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong writing skills with ability to produce own marketing content
  • Working knowledge of measuring marketing ROI and campaign impact.
  • Strong project management skills – ensure project milestones are met according to commitments; ability to manage and prioritize a wide variety of project types that vary in scope and scale and excel in a lean work environment
  • Proficient at Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Interpersonal, writing, decision making skills
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Requires attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
  • Curious mindset with a focus on process improvement
  • Self-Starter
